Status quo 2020: External agencies, fragmented systems, and little internal tech ownership. My mission: Building a true in-house development department for Germany's largest theme park from scratch.

My first end boss: The "MackOne Account" – a central CIAM/SSO for the entire digital landscape. After that, I focused on structuring the team and the technology. We completely flipped the tech stack: Moving away from manual FTP uploads to a clean hybrid-cloud architecture (GCP & STACKIT). Today, everything runs containerized on Kubernetes, infrastructure is code (Terraform), and deployments are fully automated via ArgoCD.

The future strategy is clear: As a platform team, we build the stable core services that external partners and other teams can securely build upon.

Architecting and building a new microservice ecosystem for internal corporate applications. The stack: Nest.js, NATS Messaging, Kubernetes including Istio service mesh, and Keycloak as identity provider.

Parallel to this, developing Angular frontends for digital sales apps and handling Ops for a cloud product on IBM infrastructure. The intensive work with Keycloak and SSO served as the perfect blueprint for my later platform projects.

The grind phase: Hands-on development at various SMEs. Building inventory management systems, cloud-based POS solutions, and IoT devices for hardware control. Full-stack focus with PHP, MySQL, Node.js, and JavaScript. This is where my fundamental system and architecture skills were forged.
